BRINA IN AMERICA
The first leg of the tour will begin with three shows in Chicago at the largest world music festival in this part of the year. You can tune in to the group’s concert and radio interview on the WLUW radio station at www.wluw.org on 19 September between 6.00 and 7.00 pm CET. Following are to concerts at the Museum of Modern Art and the Chicago Cultural Center. From Chicago Brina will set off to New York to appear at Mo Pitkin's club in East Village, Manhattan, on Sunday, 23 September at 7.30 pm. Brina later cross the border to play at the Small World festival in Toronto on 26 September, in one of the most renowned Canadian clubs The Lula Lounge. The tour will finish in Bloomington, the university centre of Indiana, where between 27 and 29 September the Lotus Music & Arts Festival takes place featuring Brina’s three concerts, their meeting and Q&A with students, and a workshop. Two of Brina’s songs – Sijaj Sijaj Sončece and Mlado leto – will be performed by the international ensemble of the University of Indiana IVE.
