Luka started playing the guitar late in his childhood. After graduating from the Secondary School of Music in Ljubljana, he studied the guitar for several years and later taught it at music schools, cooperating at the same time at international music camps. He plays and records with different music groups, mostly acoustic ones such as Brina, Autodafe, the accompanying band of Matjaž Romih, and also more urban ones such as Menu B and Smokes & Shuflles. He also takes part at music happenings and is the author of the music for puppet shows, children and teenage TV series.
